This week the Pre-K children got to learn more about each other as they continued our “All About Me” unit. This week also brought with it a time of self-reflection as the children spent time looking in the mirror and noticing the details of their face as we continued our Reggio Self-Portrait study. Last week the children had spent a day focusing on just drawing their eyes, another day focused only on drawing their noses and a third day focused only on drawing their mouths. They noticed different shapes and drew multiple sketches after which they were asked to reflect on their work and say which one they thought was their best work and why.
